I enjoy capturing these types of events and I'm glad that now Nasa has recently shown a great amount of interest in them also. They want to link citizen scientists, like me and many other sprite chasers from around the world, to the scientific community. They are hoping that we can better understand these types of phenomenon and to figure out their role in the Global Electric Circuit.
