Details:
Despite some stiff winds, skies were clear in Southeastern Pennsylvania for this epic event. The eclipse was a fairly dark without quite as much coloration compared to other eclipses that I observed in the past. With the eclipsed moon less than 20 degrees above the Western horizon, the added atmosphere definitely did not add to the depth of color. I used a Meade LX50 10" SCT and a Canon XS DSLR camera, ISO800, 3.2 second exposure at 5:33am EST.
