Details:
Tonight and tomorrow night (Nov 22 and 23) Bluewalker3 (BW3) makes SW->NE passes to within 3° of the zenith, bisecting the sky. Tonight's occurrence was in mid-evening twilight. I first detected it in 7x35 binoculars as it was approaching Altair in the SW. My estimate then was mag 3. Then I picked it up by eye, and as it approached and crossed near the zenith it imperceptibly brightened to a solid mag 2.

As it approached Cassiopeia in the NE it had dimmed slightly but was still similar enough to her stars to remind me of 6 same-aged kids playing musical chairs, except 5 of them have found their place while the sixth one is still searching. It faded into shadow shortly afterwards. Labelled and unlabelled versions.

Event data:
- Date: Nov 22, 2022 at mid-evening twilight (~6:15pm MST)
- BW3 pass duration: 6:13pm-6:22pm MST
- BW3 disappears into Earth's shadow at 6:22:04pm MST
- BW3 maximum altitude: 87°
