Details:
There were several Orionid meteors this morning. This was the brightest one. I did not witness it in person; although I was doing some astrophotography at this time, I was in the house taking a warm-up break. This fireball left a persistent train that lasted 20 minutes or more. See my linked YouTube video for a time-lapse of the train as it contorted itself into all kinds of shapes before fading away. I have a system of several surveillance cameras intended to record these meteors and other sky phenomena.
