Details:
Venus is now six days past inferior conjunction and is more than 11 deg west of the Sun. From central Virginia, it rose 40 minutes before the Sun on Oct 30. It is now 60 arcseconds in diameter and will rapidly gain altitude, increase in phase, and shrink in size over the coming days.
