Details:
Venus and Mercury setting in the evening twilight. Venus and its reflection was easy to see; Mercury was much harder and never had a reflection.

1838 MST 01 October 2026; about 30 minutes after sunset and just a few minutes after the end of Civil twilight.

The first image is tightly cropped at 2:1 aspect ratio to better show the planets. The second image is the full frame.

Nikon D850, Tamron SP 35mm f/1.4 Di USD, 0.5 sec, f/8.0, ISO 64.
