Details:
It was incredibly exciting to push my budget 5-inch telescope to its absolute theoretical limit and catch this faint near-Earth asteroid at magnitude 18.95! By tracking its orbital ephemerides in post-processing, the asteroid became a sharp dot while the stars turned into beautiful trails, showcasing its immense speed. Details: Sky-Watcher 130PDS telescope, EQ5 mount, Player One Sedna-M camera, 145x60s exposures (2.4 hours total), stacked with ASTAP ephemeris alignment.
