Details:
This image, titled "Chronography of an Eclipse", is a composite of approximately 750 consecutive photographs taken at one-second intervals aboard Iberia flight IB1473 during the total solar eclipse of August 12, 2026. Captured at an altitude of approximately 11,000 metres (36,000 feet), the sequence covers the central 15 minutes of the event. Each photograph forms a tile representing a specific moment in time. Together, the tiles combine the successive moments into a single image, revealing the temporal evolution of this extraordinary astronomical phenomenon.
