Details:
The Crescent of Venus near statues at the top of the Basilica di Santa Croce in Gerusalemme in Rome. There are only a fee days left until its inferior conjunction and so Venus appears increasingly beautiful and slender. The clear sky made it possibile to see the planet quite well, even with the naked eye. As It was located at an elongation of about 20 degrees from the Sun, I would help myself find it by extending my arm and spreading my fingers. At high zoom the planet would easily drift away from the details of the statues, requiring constant adjustment to keep It in the same field of view.
