Details:
Set up scope just before 9UT and lined up AR4551 which was very quiet. Made a cup of tea while the scope settled and came back at 9:05 to see a bright flare underway. It was a M1.68 which peaked at 9:03 so I missed the peak by 2 minutes. Moral is record everything! Poor seeing because Sun was so low and playback is 900x real time. Apologies for double post - first animation was corrupted.
