Details:
I woke up at 5 am to see the conjunction of the Moon, Venus and Spica. It was so beautiful! Venus came up first, big and bright. Then Spica a minute later just off to the north. After a few minutes I spotted the dark limb of the Moon peeking up from the mountainside. That ghostly glow of earth shine visible at first, then the bright horns started poking out - the crescent moon split by the mountain. It was spectacular to watch the Moon emerge from the mountainside revealing a thin crescent of light below bright Venus. The trio continued to rise through the brightening dawn twilight.
